We decided we needed to start getting some advice from the consumer world on baby products and other things. What better advice could we get than from our friends who have already raised their own kids and have used the products first hand? So we will post a topic and would love to hear your opinions, both good and bad. Let us know what the best out there is.

My advice with a crib is get one that is nice quality. You will use it for all of your kids. Get one that will be still be in style in many years down the road. And that is unisex. We bought one that converts into a full size bed frame and plan to put it on Londons bed when Aaron is done with it. Other than that, there really isn't one crib that is better than others. Just get one you guys like.
I agree with Breanne on her advise. i would only add that you should test the side to make sure you can easily lift and lower it.
Not all cribs have sides that come down, make sure you get one that does because once she is a little bigger you will have to lower the mattress and it is really hard to bend all the way down there. Some mattresses are higher in the cribs than others, try to get the highest one to save your back the trouble. Just practice bending into all the cribs you look at like you are putting the baby in and see what is most comfortable.
