Fun in California

My cousin Melissa and I sewed these cute little peas that zip into a pod. It was a little challenging to figure out how to sew the pod but I was proud when I was done.

We rode the bart into San Fransisco. It was so nice to not have to battle traffic. We visited our friends Stephanie and Garrett and their little one McKenzie. This huge beautiful park is right by the Exploritorium, a 15 min walk from their apt.
Jason was looking forward to Sushi in SF, I can't have raw fish so Stephanie was a good sport and tried it with him. They had raw salmon and fish eggs, which she said she could do without. The plate had nice presentation. But I don't think I would like it either.

Jason went golfing twice. He got some blisters on his thumb and I guess he has a lot to work on in order to keep up with the BIG dogs :)

I love that my parents have a pool in their backyard. It is so nice! This is my cousins son Aiden and even though the water was a little chilly he enjoyed it.
