I started grocery shopping with coupons last October. I try not to be obsessed but the deals out there are ridiculous and it is hard to miss out. I have a binder full of coupons and I am learning a lot about the art of couponing. So here are my last 2 shopping trips:
Albertsons: I spent $8.58 and saved $47.39.
Are you convinced?!? It does take time but it is worth it. If any of you have any blogs or websites you like please let me know....or any tips. I want to get my food storage stocked up and I want to learn to be more self reliant. Last year I learned how to can and I also learned how to make the best wheat bread I have ever tasted. I love learning these skills and the money saved is a HUGE added bonus.

WOW! I think that is a GREAT way to build up the food storage. Good job!
AMAZING! I have meant to try, but have never gotten up the motivation to make it happen! Do you do online coupons, Sunday morning paper, or what?
That is amazing Caroline!!! I need to know your trix!! How do you do it?!
I'm a big couponer myself, but you must be getting double or triple coupon value to save that kind of money. How are you doing it???
I use online and Sunday papers. Jen- They had some promotions going on where if you buy certain participating items you get cash back. I got $10 off before I even started using coupons.
Hey Caroline that is awesome. I know there are a lot of ways to save. A mission companions sister of mine blogs about something similar to this here is her blog http://apennyearnedisapennysaved.blogspot.com/
Good luck !!!
I've been doing it too but kind of fizzled out a few months ago. :( Let me know if you have any good tips.
Hey Caroline! Can I get the recipe for that wheat bread?! And when are you going to Tahoe by the way?
